Mason's math teacher asked him to solve the following problem: "Use the information in this table of equivalent ratios to find the number of seventh graders in Art Club. Explain your reasoning."

Mason wrote the following
"There are 14 seventh graders in Art Club. I see that the increase between Gardening Group and Book Club is 2 seventh graders, so I need to add 2 to the number of seventh graders in Book Club in order to find the answer of 14 seventh graders in Art Club."

Explain the error in Mason's reasoning.
