Don't be misled by this question...How "high" the sun is in the sky is not something that you can measure with a rocket and a huge tape measure. The perception of height above the horizon is just a matter of perception. It is your brain's interpretation of the relative angle between the horizon, or ground plane, and the sun itself as it floats in our obviously heliocentric solar system. What would this angle have to be to make the height of the magic building 8 meters, while it still casts a shadow that measures 160 meters long.
