1. Leslie's sister gave Leslie her collection of glass animal figurines when she left for college. At that time the value of the collection was $95. Leslie
Then bought several new glass animal figurines for $5.25 each.
Write a recursive routine to find the value of Leslie's collection after
each new figurine is added. Assume each figurine does not increase
or decrease in value
b. Write an equation in intercept form (y= a + bxe) to describe the
relationship between the value of the collection, y, and the number of
new figurines, x.
c Explain the real-world meaning of the values of a and b in your equation.
& Show how you can use the equation you wrote in lb to find the value
of Leslie's collection if she buys 10 new figurines.
e I Leslie's collection is now worth $189.50, how many figurines has
she acquired since her sister left for college?
