A skateboarder holds onto a circular merry-go-round, which is a certain distance away from a padded wall. The platform of the merry-go-round has a 7 -foot radius and makes a complete revolution, spinning counterclockwise, every 6 seconds. Assume the point at which the merrygo-round is the shortest distance from the wall is 12 o'clock. The skateboarder lets go of the merry-go-round at the 2 o'clock position, at which time they are 29 feet from the padded wall. How long will it take the skateboarder to hit the wall? Given the same merry-go-round, assume the skateboarder lets go at the 4 o'clock position. How long will it take the skateboarder to hit the wall?
