I need help with these I also would like it if you showed your work.

1. n + 2 = 13
- 2 -2
subtract 2 from both sides in order to isolate the variable (n) , 2 then crosses out and you are left with n= 11

2. 3n = 15
\ 3 \3

divide by three on both sides in order to isolate the variable (n), 3 crosses out and you are left with 15\3 = 5 . therefore n=5 .

3. 2n/3 = 10
2/3 n = 10
you need to reciprocate by doing this you multiply 2/3 by 3/2 , this cross cancels. you then must do the same for the other side (10) , 10/1 * 3/2 . 10x3 = 30 1*2 =2 , 30/2 therefore n=15 .

4. n -5 = -1
+5 +5
add five to both sides:) , 5 cross cancels and you are left with -1 + 5, this equals 4
therefore n=4.

5. 2n + 3 = 11
this is a two step equation so you need to subtract & multiply. first subtract three from both sides leaving you with 2n = 8
then divide by 2, this isolates the variable. 2/2 you’re left with n and 8/2 is 4, therefore n=4 .

6. 1/3n - 2 = 7
two step equation so you need to multiply and add. first add 2 to both sides -2 + 2 crosses out = 0 and 7 + 2 = 9 . the equation should now be 1/3n = 9
you then need to reciprocate and multiply , 1/3 * 3/1 crosses out and you’re left with n , then do the other side 3/1 * 9/1 , 3*9 = 27 and 1*1 = 1 . therefore n = 27/1 or 27 .
