Mr. Milano is building a brick wall around his patio. He purchased and laid 1,225 bricks the first weekend. The second weekend, he purchased an additional 1,444 bricks to complete the wall.
When he finished, Mr. Milano had 378 bricks left over. How many bricks in all did Mr. Milano use in the wall?
