Hello guy’s I need help for this exercise I don’t understand the way of doing it I’m stupid .. ABC is a right triangle at A such that AB = 8 cm and AC = 16 cm. ABD is rectangle in
A and AD = 5 cm.
M is a variable point of the segment [AB]. We construct the rectangle AMPR such that P is on the
segment [BC] and the rectangle AMND. We set x = AM.
We call f (x) the area of the rectangle AMPR and g (x) the area of the rectangle AMND.
1 / Over what interval can x vary?
2 / a) Determine BM as a function of x.
b) Using Thales' theorem, determine MP as a function of x.
c) Deduce f (x) as a function of x.
3 / By calculating values, draw in a coordinate system the graphic representation of the function f.
4 / Graphically determine the maximum area of the rectangle as well as the value of x
corresponding.
5 / Determine g (x) as a function of x.
6 / Represent g in the previous coordinate system.
7 / For which value (s) of x are the two areas equal? justify your answers

Could you help me please ?
