Boyle’s law states that when considering gases, volume varies inversely with pressure. If V represents the volume of the gas and P represents the pressure of the gas, what would the formula be that represents this relationship? If a balloon has a volume of 4 L of gas with a pressure of 5 atmospheres, what will the volume be when the pressure is 3 atmospheres?
The formula is V = kP, and when P = 3, V = 4/3
The formula is V = kP, and when P = 3, V = 5/3
The formula is k = VP , and when P = 3, V = 4.
The formula is k = VP, and when P = 3, V = 20/3
