Some subjects are more important than others. You have to be working in a field where the concepts you learn in school.

I'd say that everything you learn in middle school and Algebra 1 + 2 , maybe a little of geometry you'll use at some point in your life.

Or our preferences might change depending on different aspects of life.So knowing a 'little bit' from every subject we do in school is not a bad thing,at the end we know all that greatest things are achived will a hard work!So we should learn as much as we can! Math especially!
