Extra Credit Problem #1
1
Using pennies (S.01), nickels (5.05), dimes (8.10) and quarters (9.25), how many different ways
can you create 43 cents (S.43).
For example:
3 pennies (9.03) + 1 nickel (5.05) + 1 dime ($.10) + 1 quarter (S.25) = 43 cents ($.43)
43 pennies (S.43) = 43 cents (S.43)
3 pennies (9.03) + 4 dimes (S.40) = 43 cents (S.43)
So, there are three ways. How many different ways can it be done?
