This question is not as bad as it looks. The whole process is already laid out for you, you just need to finish the final touches. Whenever you are solving for x, your main goal is to always make x by itself through a process of unwinding. Here, x is almost by itself, you just need to get rid of 4/3 first. In most cases what you would want to do is multiply 4/3 by its recipical (flipped version) which is 3/4 and they cancel each other out (because 4/3 * 3/4 = 1). What you do on one side however you do to the other so you would also have to multiply 28/3 by 3/4 to get the anwser. However this method is for people who have gotten the hang of this. A simplier way to do this is to look at it piece by piece. For a moment, take out x and just look at 4/3. Outside of being a fraction, in words it is saying 4 divided by 3. In order to get rid of the 3 we would have to do the opposide of division which is multiplication and multiply 3 on both sides which, lucky for us, cancels out the threes on both sides. All thats left is 4x= 28. Again just look at 4x which actaully says 4 times x. To get rid of the 4 we divide 4 on both sides (because remember what you do to one side you do to the other) and voila, x is by itself and 28/4 = 7 so x=7
