Using the Basic Elementary Functions on Pg 57 of your book, create a piecewise function, f(x), that includes all of them. They all need to include at least one translation- for instance, if I had an exponential function g(x)=2^x, then I might have one piece of my piecewise function as 2^(x+1)-3 (exponential functions are NOT part of the Basic Elementary Functions). Describe the effects of each translation. Graph your function both by hand and using technology, then find the following. Domain of f(x) f(100) f(-100) f(0)
