Remember it has to have one number before the decimal.

8.2 * 10^-7 in standard form = 0.00000082

YOu have to move the decimal back.

In the first box the answer is 2.07 × 10^-7.

In the second box the answer is 0.00000082.

logv3(x+2)=1

rewrite in exponential form:

logb(x) = y is equal to b^y =x

b = 3, y = 1

now solve for x:

3^1 = x+2)

x = 3-2

x = 1
