Can someone please explain to me what quadrants on a coordinate plane means, for brainliest and some points.

The intersecting x- and y-axes divide the coordinate plane into four sections. These four sections are called quadrants. Each quadrant has different values on each axis. In the first one (top right) the values are both positive. But in the third quadrant (bottom left) the values are opposite. Going diagonal from top right to bottom left or top left to bottom right the values are opposites.
