2planes left a airport at noon 1 flew east and the other flew west as twice the speed after 3 hours the planes were 2700 miles apart. how fast was each plane flying?

Speed =distance ÷time
?=2700÷3
?=900 miles per hour

X=speed of the first plane. (east)
2x=speed of the second plane (west).

speed of the first plane=300 miles/h
