The cost , C dollars , of the premium for out of the country health insurance is given by the formula C= 13 + 1.5 days, where d is the number of days per trip, to a maximum of 17 days. a) What does each term on the right side of the equation represent? b) If a student goes on a backpacking trip and is out of the country for 10 days, how much will her premium be? c) A lady paid 34$ for health insurance on her trip. Substitute 34 for C in the equation and solve the equation for d to determine the length of her trip.
