At a local arts festival, each volunteer receives a $10 gift card for volunteering 2
hours at the festival. If they volunteer more than 2 hours, they get an additional $4 on
their gift card for each additional hour worked. How many total hours did a person
volunteer if they received a $30 gift card? Let x = the number of additional hours
worked and y = total money on the gift card.
I have to show my work but don’t know how.
