Considering that a triangle is actually HALF of a square and you can solve your area with 1/2b* then why isn’t the volume of a pyramid 1/4*b*h when a pyramid is 1/4 of a rectangular prism/cube? If anybody could give me a visual to help me or an explanation that would be great.

I am just genuinely wondering about this question and it’s not involved with homework.

I will report any answers that do not directly answer this question or a random answer.

(a) compute the maclaurin polynomial m2(x) for f(x) = cos x. (b) use the polynomial of part (a) to estimate cos π 12. (c) use a calculator to compute the error made using the estimate from part (b) for the value of cos π 12. remember that the error is defined to be the absolute value of the difference between the true value and the estimate.
