Calculate the area of the cross section of the airplane wing, using the trapezoidal rule.
Seven equally-spaced vertical lines are surrounded by a closed curve. The lengths of the vertical lines from left to right are as follows: 0.00 feet, 0.59 foot, 0.75 foot, 1.05 feet, 1.25 feet, 1.00 foot, and 0.64 foot. The distance between the fourth vertical line and the fifth vertical line is 1.00 foot.
0.59
0.75
1.05 ft
1.25 ft
1.00 ft
0.64 ft
1.00 ft
