Age and gender are often included in a regression model as a covariates, i. e, predictors, confounders, effect modifiers. But there are situations/studies where age (or gender) can be scientifically treated as the outcome, i. e., the response variable, or the so-called dependent variable. Give one example where age is the outcome and then give another example where gender is the outcome.
