Go to artofstat. com, click on WebApps and open the Sampling Distribution for the Sample Proportion app. Under Select Population Proportion (p) change it to 0.8. Note the height of the bar for Success (1) is the same as your value of p, so the height of the bar for Failures (0) has to be 1-p. This value of p represents: a. a statistic or estimator - the proportion of successes computed for the population. b. a statistic or estimator-the proportion of successes computed for the sample. c. a parameter the true proportion of successes in the entire population. d. a parameter the true proportion of successes in the entire sample
