Ok so the axis of symmery is the x value of the vertex
remember vertex form

f(x)=a(x-h)^2+k
h is the x value
so we want
xvalue=-2=h
f(x)=a(x-(-2))^2+k
or
f(x)=a(x+2)^2+k

we see that the last one is the answer
f(x)=(x+2)^2-1
