The height in feed of an object free falling t seconds after release is s(t)=-16^2+v_0t+s_0 where s_0 is height (in feet) at which the object is releasedm and v_0 is the initial velocity (in feet per second), suppose a quarter is dropped from an observation deck 1,368 feet in height. determine the position and velocity functions of the quarter.

i know that the velocity function is the derivative of the position function, but i; m not sure how to go about figuring it out.
