you want to move the variable to the left side and change its sign so the equation should now be 3.4g-1.4g+7=19, then you want to collect the like terms which now you should be left with 2g=19-7, which then turns into 2g=12, finally you want to divide both sides of the equation by 2, so then you are left with g=6.
for the second question x= 0
you want to cancel equal terms,then collect the like terms -3x=5x-10x, then move variable to the left 3x=-5x, collect like terms again -3x+5x=0, divided both sides by 2 so 2x=0, and then you’re left with 0=x

Answer is negative 2
