But if you are looking for the outputs, you just plug in the variable's value and solve in the equation.

ex#2: Find when f(2)

So what you do to find the output(answer), you just plug in the number that is in the f(x), in this case it's 2

since the table showed her that   2km = 2000m.

to determine, how many km in 2000m, she would divide by 1000.

= 2000 / 1000 = 2 km.

similarly, for 8000m = 8000 / 1000 = 8 km
