Ocean tides are the result of the gravitational force between the sun, the moon, and the earth. when ocean tides occur, the earth's crust also moves. this is called an earth tied. the formula for the height of an earth tide is y = x/3 where x is the height of the ocean tied. fill in the table (pic provided)
