b 2 triangles 7 yards by 10 yards = 2 (0.5 x 7 x 10) = 70 yard^2

2 triangles 6 yards by 7.5 = 2 (0.5 x 6 x 7.5) = 45 yard^2

1 rectangle 6 by 20 yards = 120 yard^2

Area = 70 +45+120 = 235 yard^2

i think there was a typo. you wrote pat brings 3 quarts of ice-cream to the party. each serving of ice-cream is 1 6 quart. how many total servings of ice-cream does pat bring to the party? i think the bold is supposed to be 1/6. so 1 quart of ice cream = 6 servings. 6 * 3 = 18.
