How to do one hole and 2/5 times 3 4/5

1 2/5 x 3 4/5 = 5.32  -- with calculator

You can change mixed fractions to improper fractions.
1 2/5 = 1 x 5 + 2 = 7 = 7/5
3 4/5 = 3 x 5 + 4 = 19 = 19/5
7/5 x 19/5 = 133/25 = 5.32

To make sure you can then turn the improper fractions to decimals.
7/5 = 1.4
19/5 = 3.8
1.4 x 3.8 = 5.32

Whenever I get mixed fraction questions, I always check it in these different excess ways just to make sure :3 Hope it helped..
