Mrs. Constantinople is in Food Lion Supermarket doing her weekly grocery shopping. Her four year old son, Marco, is seated in the shopping cart. As they pass a large hot sauce display, Marco reaches out and pulls a bottle off of the shelf. The display collapses, and dozens of bottles come tumbling down. A few bottles break, speading hot sauce and glass all over the floor. Mrs. Constantinople severely scolds Marco and continues her shopping trip. Ten minutes later, Mr. Wendal slips on the hot sauce and falls. He breaks his hip and suffers deep cuts from the broken glass. Since he is elderly, the hip injury develops complications and may never heal properly.
