ASSIGNMENT QUESTION: Mr. & Mrs. Travel had recently purchased a holiday package from ABC holidays, to
France from the 1st of July 2020 to the 15th of July 2020. The package included air
fare, hotel stay and all 3 meals per day over the course of the holiday. They
purchased the package for RM25,000 of which they have paid a sum of RM10,000
when they booked on the 1st of June 2020. On the 30th of June 2020. ABC holidays
General Manager informed Mc. & Mrs. Travel that all travel to Europe has been
indefinitely postponed and that they shall update all customers by the 30th of
September 2020
The couple are furious, disappointed and wants to claim a refund of their booking fee
paid of RM10,000. ABC holidays General Manager has replied to their letters stating
that the postponement is not their fault but imposed by the Government and
therefore they had no part to play and in all honesty wanted to carry out their
obligations by carrying out the holiday packages as promised.

Question 1 :You are to advice Mr and Mrs Travel Inn the legal options available to him when pursuing a claim for refund of their booking fees by the use of grid.

Question 2: You are to explain clearly to Mr .and Mrs Travel. each option they may pursue legally and advise them on which option they should pursue in your learned opinion as their lawyer considering all evidence.
