Pretend that you have been given an opportunity to have one single thing for Christmas that money can't buy. Write 1 (eight sentence) paragraph explaining what that wish would be and why this is what you want. Focus on punctuation and grammar. *Do not think in terms of "gifts" merely for yourself. Think broad-scale. What is something that would be truly meaningful?

In years past, I have had students write about ending world hunger, eliminating cancer, stopping wars in other countries, or making sure that every child had at least one thing under the Christmas tree. Pick something TRULY important to YOU! Think OUTSIDE OF YOURSELF!

*Do not write about your wanting a PS4 or something of this nature...again, think outside of yourself.
