AY HELP TIME RUNNING OUT!! What was unusual and unexpected about the legal developments that happened in the decades around the American Revolution?

It was difficult to get all citizens to focus on what would be fair for everyone when most people were thinking of what is best for themselves.

The new citizens of America were all involved in experimenting with different ways to establish a new system of law.

George Washington tried to tell Americans that there is one way to establish a legal system, but people did not listen.

As the English created a complete legal system, the fledgling American nation could just borrow the English system in total.
