Someone running for president used at his campaign rallies the following songs without permission: Adele’s rolling in the deep, Neil youngs Rockin in the free world, and The Rolling Stones start me up. If those artists had no copyright in those songs because the record label owned the copyright, what tort or torts could they have sued that presidential candidate for and why?
