State and give an example of two main types of criminal offenses

There are three offenses. They are infraction, misdemeanor, and felony.

Explanation:

Infraction

Infraction is the minor offenses. Moreover it will be punished by fines.Maximum there won't be jail staying.Also it does not need attendance in the court. Noise violation laws and traffic is the classification of the local crimes. Examples are:  Speed up while driving, law for seat belt will be disobeyed and littering.

Felony

Felony is the maximum level of  offenses. Mostly severe penalties are made. In this crime punishment will be common for who are all committing the crime. This includes everyone in the crime when aided to offender. Penalties will be depends on the level of crime and includes prison staying. Examples are:   violation of drug abuse.
