FORCE ACT was one of the United States of America law. The force Act was written to give the President legal authority to enforce the first section of the Fifteenth Amendment. The amendment act, which in turn helped to protect terrorized black citizens for exercising their right to vote, run for public office, also, to protect voters from violence or fraud. The Force Act was passed by Republican Reconstruction supporters in the Congress between May 31, 1870, and March 1, 1875. The force Act is also known as the First Ku Klux Klan Act or The Enforcement Act of 1870.
