The invention of the printing press was a blessing in disguise to the Renaissance ideas, arts and classical works. It basically led to mass productions of literary works, and the dissemination of knowledge was hence revolutionized.

Printing press--the printing press ensured new intellectual ideas spread around Europe. 

The printing press spread ideas of secularism and science. It also spread ideas of the Reformation by aiding the spread of translated Bibles. Pamphlets and stories were also printed and shared through the Renaissance.
