Why did president reagan persuade the saudi arabians to lower the price of oil? to further hurt a struggling soviet union economy because oil exports were their main source of income to persuade opec to increase the price of their oil to further increase market instability to increase the value of american oil on the international market to make it almost impossible for the iraqi government to bring any oil to market
