Describe what happened to the muslim governmnt of spain in the early 1000s

It started losing its power. Because the Islamic Caliphate ended, Muslim countries worldwide started losing power. The Catholic church initiated the reconquista which was a mission with a goal of restoring lands to Catholic rule. Muslim rule on the Iberian peninsula started eroding and they started losing region after region to Catholics, who managed to take all of the peninsula in the following four centuries. 

The growth of the empire continued to increase their confidence.
