Fighting over power and disagreement over the people

The image addresses workers during the industrial revolution are raisng a fist towards the revolution. Through that time of unfair wages; they probably are revolting against it through alliance. Like the fist they raise; they are united to wage for better compensation for their work. You can see they are not working, their tools resting down. 

They made a checks and balance system to equal power within the branches. the "check" meant that one branch would watch one branch and "balance" them if they were too powerful. if you want more info on this, i would just google checks and balance system.
