Why do christians consider the resurrection important?

As a Christian, here is my answer;

The resurrection is an important thing. It tells us that Jesus is alive  Do you think its important? You may not now, but maybe later you will. :) *_*

The reason why we think it is very important is because it has something to do with god.The reason is god came back to life to lead and help us as people.
