How was the south affected by the great depression

People no longer trusted the stock market much less the bank. Banks began to shut down because people began taking their money out of them after the crash so borrowed money couldn't be repaid. People couldn't be paid or they'd get fired so many many people lost their homes and businesses thus the after affect of the great depression towards the south.
