Things that many African American do with the new found freedom that they obtain are the following;

·         The use the power to vote in which they have now the privilege to vote

·         Others were able to migrate to places that they used to be forbidden of

·         They were able to do the things that once wasn’t allowed for them to do because they were now free from being slaves and looked down on

unbeknownst to the slave-ship captains, the daily dancing and exercise regime and vernacular dance are also derived from america's african-based slave legacy. both are african-american cuisines from the slavery era.
