What were the advantages and disadvantages the native americans had when the early settlers arrived in america?

The Native Americans had unsophisticated weaponry... Compared to it's counterpart the settlers which had muskets and rifles with gun powder bullets.

The Natives had (Bows, Knifes, Spears)

 The advantages the Native Americans had was the land, they knew the land better and could maneuver around the settlers and surprise attack them :)
