How did the puritans justify their invasion of the native americans' land in the seventeenth century?

The Puritans and the Native Americans clashed and battled for the land that they wanted.The land was a big issue for the Native Americans and colonists. The land was home to the Native Americans, but the colonists mistreated them, and took the land that belonged to them. The Puritans were a group of Christian believers who strongly believed in the religious practices. For example all the colonists who were puritans must come to the Church on Sunday. If they did not go to the church, punishments were to come. If anyone did not believe in their religious practices or wanted to change them, they were exacuted or killed.
