I won't write the entire paragraph for you but the Greeks had a pure democracy that any free man could vote it. This is of course in Athens at the time. The Romans had a republic and dictatorship at two different times. Well, first, Rome had kings, then, it had an Emperor under a dictatorship rule, lastly there is the Roman Republic which allowed people to vote like the Greek Democracy.
