On the Holocaust
Part C
After you either meet with your teacher or have written your own responses to the questions in Part B, you’ll need to create an outline for your presentation. Note that your presentation will need to be four to five minutes in length, and it should be a multimedia presentation that educates viewers on the historical significance of your World War II topic. You will use this outline template to organize your research facts. As you make your outline, consider these questions:
What is your thesis? What point are you trying to make with your presentation?
In what order will you present your information?
What are your main points? These should support your thesis.
What evidence will you use? Make sure you have at least three pieces of evidence from your two sources to support your thesis.
Distinguish between talking points (information you will convey to the audience as you speak) and visual points (points you make through onscreen text or images).
Make sure the presentation has a hook to grab the audience’s attention and get them interested in your topic.
Make sure you have at least three types of media planned. These can include graphs, music, sound effects, video, posters, pictures, and so on.
Now, write your presentation outline.
