Collaboration Opportunity
This lesson contains a collaboration activity. You will need to complete at least one of the collaboration activities found in Lesson 01.06, 02.05, 03.05, or 04.05. Only one collaboration activity is required for each segment of this course.

After you complete the collaboration activity, you will submit the Collaboration Assessment Guide and Collaboration Project. Explore the details of this project to decide if it is the right one for you!

Historical archaeology combines the study of past writing and materials to understand people from the past. Written records typically tell us only part of the story. Man-made materials or artifacts like toys and dishes tell us more about people's daily lives. These items reveal details people usually would not write about or think important enough to discuss with others. Material items are often broken, however, and analyses are based on the pieces available. NextPage 1 of 9Show Text Version
