The 9/11 attacks changed everything about life in The United States.

The 9/11 attacks changed how people viewed others - people became paranoid of others and worried about their intentions. This especially applied to those who were part of Muslim culture. Many Muslims faced violence and discrimination as a result of the attacks.

The 9/11 attacks also changed how people viewed the government. Many Americans feel that Bush was responsible for the attacks and argue that the government could've done more to prevent the attacks from happening.

The 9/11 attacks caused lasting damage on many American families. Millions of people lost siblings, mothers, fathers, and spouses on that day. Many still hold feelings of grief and anger towards what happened.

Lastly, the 9/11 attacks had a massive influence on airport security. New security measures were put in place, such as more invasive screenings and additional security at airport gates and on aircrafts.
