HELP TW VENTING

I am 15, I live with my mother and brother.

My mother has been saying she’s “going to her cousins” for the last three days at night. She also said she would get me new glasses, contacts, take me to the dentist, and take me to the store for clothes because I have school coming up this past week.

But then she went out and bought all this stuff that we needed and extra stuff we didn’t need because we have more than plenty of it. Then she went out again to buy more random stuff to come back to me saying she couldn’t go get the stuff that I need.

She also takes the money she gave me, and uses it for bills. Which that’s the least I’m concerned about because I have a bank account u see my grandmas name. The only thing that makes me upset about that is I clean the whole house when she is out “getting things for the house” (which lasts for like 3 hours ) and then she doesn’t say thank you.

My mom still cooks but not like she’s supposed to. Not three meals a day, only one.

Then like she loves to give me money and take it back just to see me get disappointed because she’s knows I wanted something, such as a Zemo funk pop that I had wanted for a while. She says it’s for bills. How r u gonna pay all the bills with 20 dollars?

What I’m trying to ask, is it okay for a parent to live their kid unattended for hours and hours on end? Is it okay for a parent to give their kid money instead of apologizing? Is it okay for a parent to make little comments such as “nice butt”?

Also, I want to know when you guys started cooking, like what age because I had to start fixing myself (putting stuff in microwave, in the oven, make sandwiches, stuff like that) food at 11 and actually started cooking for myself this year.
