For fundraisers you could do a walk-a-thon. basically you get a bunch of people to walk around an canvas the area asking for donations. The person or group that gets the most donations usually gets some sort of cheap prize (for example: a pizza party) and the rest of the money goes toward your cause or goal.

You could also sell cookies or chocolates or something. Maybe a carwash.

For the last question, talk about a time you took the lead during a group project. Do your friends listen to what you have to say? Why are you leader material?
